We met with promotoras in Reynosa last week to discuss current issues in the factories and to come up with a strategy to address them.
Addressing Students at Santa Monica College
Partners for Responsible Trade and Rosa Moreno were asked to be guest speakers at Santa Monica College. We were also interviewed for a story in the spanish newspaper La Opinion in Los Angeles. These types of events are so important for raising awareness about conditions in offshore factories. We are looking forward to arranging similar speaking events in the future at universities around the country. I hope that hearing Rosa’s story will help start the conversation among cons
