Meet Our Team

Victoria Ruddy is the Executive Director of Partners for Responsible Trade Inc. She believes in helping to create a more equitable working environment for factory workers all over the world. Victoria is fluent in Spanish and has spent some time living in Monterrey, Mexico. Victoria has a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Management with a focus in international studies from Franklin University and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Public Administration. She is committed to helping workers and their families achieve a better quality of life.

Christine Ruddy is the Vice President of Partners for Responsible Trade Inc.  She is committed to encouraging corporations to act responsibly in their offshore factories. Christine has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and M.B.A. from Franklin University. She has worked in Commercial Banking for more than 20 years in Columbus, Ohio. She believes that educating workers about their rights and educating consumers about how their products are made is vital to bring about change.

Abril Yuridia Cruz Martinez is the Program Director for our Hands United on the Border event. Abril lives in Rio Bravo, Mexico and has been a Promotora supporting workers and teaching them about their rights for over seven years. She has worked in maquiladoras (factories) on the border for over 12 years.  She returned to school and recently graduated from Universidad Tamaulipeca with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. She is currently pursuing a Law Degree.

Rosa Moreno is a former factory working who lives in Reynosa. Rosa worked in factories for over ten years before she was injured in 2011 that resulted in the amputation of both of her hands. Rosa hopes to help improve conditions in the factories in Reynosa, so that workers are not subjected to the same kinds of dangerous working conditions as she was. She spends a great deal of time in the neighborhoods in Mexico meeting with workers and teaching them the labor law and their rights.
