Carlos Receives a 3D printed hand in Roanoke Virginia

On July 16th 2015 Carlos was fitted for a 3D printed partial hand prosthesis in Roanoke Virginia. This hand was donated by Virginia Prosthetics and Orthotics and Carlos' trip to receive the device was sponsored by Partners for Responsible Trade Inc. This hand utilizes Carlos' wrist motion to open and close the fingers for gripping objects. Carlos was successfully able to use the device after just a few minutes.
