Trip to San Diego

Partners for Responsible Trade arranged for a former factory worker, Daniel, to be brought to San Diego for a surgery donated by Fresh Start. Daniel was injured in a Recycling factory in Reynosa, Mexico last year at the age of 18. His fingers were permenantly disfurged as a result. Daniel recieved a surgery in San Diego to make his fingers more functional.

On May 4th, we were asked to be guest speakers at San Diego City College. Partners for Responsible Trade was able to speak with students about the current situation in factories along the US/Mexico border. We appreciate the opportunity to speak with\

students and bring about awareness about offshore manufacturing practices.
