Preparing for Hands United on the Border in Reynosa and Rio Bravo

Today we met with promotoras in Reynosa and Rio Bravo to discuss current issues in the factories and finish preparations for the Hands United on the Border event. The promotoras have worked very hard to organize this event and we hope to have a large turn out of workers and supporters on May 1st. We also met with Rosa Moreno to see how she is doing with her new right hand prosthesis. Rosa has learned to do many things since recieving her hand in February. She showed us how she irons, cooks meals, and writes with her new hand. Rosa prepared a wonderful meal for us while we visited!
